In June-July of 2022, Blumberg Advisory Group conducted a research study among Warranty and Aftermarket Service professionals involved in the financial and operational aspects of their companies’ extended warranties and service contracts (EW/SC).

  • Our survey findings suggest that companies are experiencing growth in revenue from the sale of extended warranty and service contract (EW/SC) programs.
  • The revenue growth that respondents are experiencing is due primarily to a greater emphasis on implementing effective sales and marketing strategies and designing programs that better meet customer needs.
  • EW/SC revenue growth will likely continue in the months ahead as providers continue sharpening their sales and marketing skills, and customers see more value in these programs.
